2021.11.27 23:12 Dependent-Wheel-2791 Logic

Now I just think it's a little off that DG does this biiiig hiring event (if you even wanna call it that lol everyone is still short staffed) yet turns around and cuts hours like crazy right at the start of tax season. I believe this "literacy foundation" of theirs is a front as well. So much money they "donate" into it but can't give employees a real bonus. If you aren't aware unlike the majority of the population, most rich people don't actually file this time of year. They wait and file an extension. Charity is a a tax break in a lot of cases the equivalent donated. Now I'm just theorizing, but all of this is in correlation with one another. Donations to its own charity, basically doubling what it donates. I'm assuming bonuses that should be ours as well all for profit. The hiring event and the hours cut is probably another way of avoiding taxes as well. It's tax fraud, money laundering, and most likely multiple other crimes. All to maximize profits. Greed. This company is pure greed. Play along and you are somewhat rewarded (nothing compared to the amount they pocket) or they bleed you dry and give you coupons just for the store to line their pockets even more. God we need a mole to get in and see what dirt is behind the iron curtain

2021.11.27 23:12 tundradude14 My pursuit of gecko

I want a gecko, this is our text convo: Me: Can I get a leopard gecko My mom (will be referred to as just mom): no I said to myself “we will see about that” Me: Reasons why I should get a gecko: It will make me happy They are adorable Will provide me with experience and responsibility for the future when I want to take on more difficult pets when I move out Mom: good argument but no Me: A dog is more difficult to take care of than a gecko, therefore if I want to one day be in charge of Lexie or my future kids than I will need something very simple to start with. I have successfully taken care of cacti and am ready to take the next step. (More coming gimme one sec) we have dog named Lexie Mom: no Me: Easy to breed in captivity, so buying one does not mean you are depleting wild populations Mom: You will take care of yourself in college which will give you the necessary responsibility for the future Me: A good analogy that supports my opinion would be that you have an immune system, yet vaccines and medicine are still extremely important. Just as having the experience of taking care of yourself will provide great responsibility, but the experience of taking care of others will be the difference between good children and great children. You don’t live twice so I want to make sure I don’t mess up. I would hate to slip up and raise them wrong which would haunt me for my entire existence. Also you say I will have to take care of myself too, so raising a gecko could teach me many lessons and prep myself to be responsible for myself. Mom: Well written but still no Me: Reptiles aren’t that bad. Here’s a story to read about them, “National Reptile Appreciation Day is actually Oct. 21, but as that was a Sunday, the club celebrated it the day after. Rheubert said it’s basically a “low-key event” to spread awareness of the animals. The goal? To convince people that reptiles are fascinating – not scary. Success was mixed. One student could be overheard walking past and saying, “I am not a fan of reptiles.” (She did accept a free T-shirt.) But then there was sophomore Kayla Grant. She said she’s actually really scared of snakes, but she has a friend in the herpetology club, so she stopped by the event on her way out of class. Soon, she had a corn snake crawling on her. It was an accident, as another student handed the snake off to her upon needing to go to class, so it was suddenly in her arms. It was going all right so far, though. Damien Oxier, director and founder of Arrowhead Reptile Rescue, said he’s encountered several people who say “Ew,” that there is no way they want to hold a snake. But, “Five minutes later, they’re holding a snake.”” Mom:no Me: Pets are important to people. Some may seem gross to people or weird to others but that doesn’t matter. All kinds of pets will provide love, entertainment, and happiness, but most importantly, they provide responsibility. Especially for kids who may not be ready for the future that comes fast and doesn’t stop moving. One great example of a beginners pet is the gecko, an easy to care of, adorable pet.
It is agreed upon by hundreds of scientists that taking care of a pet can provide your child with extraordinarily important experience for their lives. In fact, according to,, (One of the most respected pet information websites out there approved by real professional vets), “Having pets is a great way to make children not only more responsible, but also empathetic to the needs of others. By nature, children are focused mostly, if not exclusively, on their own needs, so having to take the time to care for a pet will have a great influence on their personality, as well as teach them to focus on others' needs too. You can ask, for example, for your child to pay attention to the pet’s mood and let you know if the pet seems sad or sick, so the two of you can take it to the vet. This exercise may seem simple, but it teaches your child a very important lesson – to be sympathetic with other people’s needs and feelings.” And the gecko is a perfect example of an age-appropriate companion for your child.
Geckos are great for kids and come with many other benefits. One of such is how they are they are docile ame easy to tame and which is perfect due to how, “The first important step is to choose a pet that is suitable for your child’s age” This only proves further how geckos are perfect for any kid. A second reason is that they are easy to breed in captivity, so buying one does not mean you are depleting wild populations. And finally, according to, “In fact, for nearly 25 years, research has shown that living with pets provides certain health benefits. Pets help lower blood pressure and lessen anxiety. They boost our immunity. They can even help you get dates.” Representing just cause geckos are a little dirty they can still help you in many ways.
“But oh no! With such greatness must come with such expense!” Wrong. Geckos are actually are very cheap compared to say, a cat. And will not destroy pillows nor nock over stuff or hiss at you. And only cost about 30 US dollars for a healthy leopard gecko that can live up to about 15 years at top, so it’s a short burden as well! Yet not too short and acts as a great stepping stone onto a more difficult pet like a dog.
In conclusion, geckos are great pets for all ages that provide entertainment, life lessons, and health benefits at low cost and maintenance! Mom: Beautifully written. Well researched. I commend your arguments. But no.

2021.11.27 23:12 usernamealreadytak25 Albums Survivor Day 32

With 45.95% of 37 votes, "A White Sport Coat and A Pink Crustacean" is our next album out.
Jimmy's debut album is an excellent start to an excellent career. It's thoroughly folk-country, or gulf-and-western, and far from the drunken Caribbean rock n' roll that became his sound by the late 70s. But his witty, observational songwriting is on a fine showcase here. Every song on this album is enjoyable, but some of the more forgettable songs include the Jerry Jeff Walker-penned "Railroad Lady", the rollicking love song "My Lovely Lady", the somewhat strange tribute to Carmen Miranda, "They Don't Dance Like Carmen No More" (why this song on his debut album?), and the supermarket-heist bluegrass-inspired "Peanut Butter Conspiracy,". But there's two more crime songs on this album, like the first juicy, gossipy Caribbean crime song of Jimmy's career,"Cuban Crime of Passion". And the third, "The Great Filling Station Holdup" is a straight-ahead country song about robbing a gas station and going on the run. Jimmy's written a lot of outlaw songs in his career, and I think the trio on this album is a swell way to ignite that flame. Then of course, the song that can get a stadium dancing and cheering with two chords, the sly, nostalgic, and risqué tribute to drive-in-movies, "Grapefruit - Juicy Fruit". The most famous song on this album, no doubt, is "Why Don't We Get Drunk and Screw", the parody of the subtly sexually charged country songs of the day, which subverts them by putting revelry and debauchery front and center, no holds barred. With all the great fun and silliness on this album, the album wins a home run with its trio of ballads here. Shockingly, the weakest of all of them is the warm. touching, and intimate tribute to finally finding belonging after feeling like an outsider, "I Have Found Me a Home." "Death of an Unpopular Poet" (one of Bob Dylan's favorite Jimmy's song) is a character piece about a hermetical undiscovered genius, who, like Van Gogh, dies unrecognized only to become lauded and deeply appreciate after his death. It's a great story about how we should do meaningful work for ourselves, not for others and for external recognition, but also about how fate can sometimes drive us mad. And of course, one of Jimmy's greatest and most beloved songs of all time, "He Went to Paris", the tragedy about an ambitious young man who travels to Paris to explore his philosophical side but becomes quickly distracted in the Parisian lifestyle, then moonlights as a pianist in England who marries and has a child and focuses in on his quiet, country lifestyle, then loses his wife, son, and eye to the war, moves to the islands, and solitarily explores his inner life once again. It's such a profound song about losing track of what you really want and letting time take away your lust for life, and the importance of staying in tune with the world around you, about remembering to live, and to think. Life may put you through the wringer, but it can always be meaningful. This song alone makes this album a classic, but with two other beautiful ballads and some delightfully funny songs too, this album makes for a fine debut and an exciting promise of what Jimmy had to come.

Hello Everyone,
I am thinking of purchasing a Dell Laptop. I have the Chase freedom flex with 5% Paypal cashback category activated. I also had an offer for "Chase offers" for the card which had Dell for a 5% cashback. Now, if I made a purchase on Dell and do payment from paypal will this trigger both the cashbacks or just one?
